Residential Solar
Make the sun work for you. Southern California pays the highest electricity rates in the nation, and increases are only getting steeper as EVs and AI data centers pile new demand onto an aging, unstable grid. Blackouts will continue to become more frequent, and constant maintenance costs are passed straight to utility customers. As more homes go solar, the utility's shrinking customer base is left covering those rising costs and shareholder returns. It's a lose-lose cycle for the foreseeable future, and solar is the way out.
Stop pouring money into a never-ending utility bill and redirect those funds into a system that becomes an immediate asset to your home. Solar protects you from blackouts, adds real value at resale, and lets you power your home with clean energy you actually own. Sean designs every solar and battery system around your roof, your shading, and your goals — then walks you through exactly how it works and your full range of purchasing options.
New System
Solar, full battery backup, and any add-ons — EV charger, sub panel, main panel upgrade, or roof work — all 30% off with Prepaid PPA option. With $0 Down options your new fixed solar payment replaces SDG&E and runs 30–50% lower from day one, locking in savings that grow over time and shielding you from rate hikes across the 25-year warranty period. Prefer to pay cash for maximum return? We're currently seeing 4–6 year payback periods. If you're under SDCP you can also qualify for their Battery Savings rebate and get $4,725–$10,000 back.
Add-On System
Already have an NEM1 or NEM2 system and need a little more production? Utilities allow you to expand your existing system and NEM agreement by up to 10% of its current size, or 1kW — whichever is greater. That's a tight ceiling: today's panels are 440 watts, so just two of them (880W) nearly maxes you out. But if your True-Up bill is small, adding a couple of panels can be exactly the right fix. If you need more power than that, see the No-Export System below.
No-Export System
If your NEM1 or NEM2 True-Up bill is large and you need more capacity than the 10% / 1kW expansion allows, a no-export system is your best move. It's a separate solar-and-battery system sized to wipe out your True-Up — plus any extra power you want — and it's programmed to never push energy back to the grid. That protects your original NEM1 or NEM2 grandfathered agreement from being downgraded to NEM3. The new system powers your home during the day, the battery covers your nights, and your original system keeps exporting excess to the grid for retail credit — making up for short winter days and stormy stretches. Available with a Prepaid PPA option to receive 30% off.
Don't have enough space for more panels? See Battery Arbitrage in the Battery section below on how a battery-only system can be programmed to help cover your True-Up.
